HUGE: Country Music LEGENDS Team Up To Boycott Woke Corporations

(SNews) – Country music star Travis Tritt is joining Kid Rock by launching a boycott of Bud Light over the beermaker’s “woke” promotional stunt that backfired.

The company provoked a widespread backlash over a campaign featuring transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney.

Mulvaney, a man who dresses in women’s clothing, has become a poster child for the Democrats’ radical transgender agenda.

The campaign severely missed the mark for Bud Light drinkers and the move has outraged Anheuser-Busch’s customer base.

Kid Rock went viral for telling Bud Light to f*ck off and shooting up a few cases of the beer.

Now other stars are joining him.

Travis Tritt said: “I will be deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from my tour hospitality rider. I know many other artists who are doing the same.

“In full disclosure, I was on a tour sponsored by Budweiser in the ’90s. That was when Anheuser-Busch was American owned. A great American company that later sold out to the Europeans and became unrecognizable to the American consumer. Such a shame.”

Tritt later issued a warning to Jack Daniels posting a photo of Ru Paul’s Drag Race show working with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey company.

“All the Jack Daniels drinkers should take note,” he wrote.

Tritt also infuriated Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, by listing the brands they have when a fan asked.

Tritt said posted a photo of various beer brands including Budweiser, Stella Artois, Corona, Michelob Light, Rolling Rock, Busch, Natural Ice, O’Douls, Red Hook, etc.

He captioned it: “Here they are.”

Transgender Dylan Mulvaney said: “Happy March Madness! Just found out this had to do with sports and not just saying it’s a crazy month!

“In celebration of this sports thing @budlight is giving you the chance to win $15,000!

“Share a video with #EasyCarryContest for a chance to win!! Good luck! #budlightpartner.”

An Anheuser-Busch spokesperson said:

“Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points.

“From time to time we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney.

“This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”

Kid Rock said:

“Grandpa is feeling a little frisky today.

“Let me say something to you all as clear and concise as possible,” before turning his back to the camera and firing off a few rounds at some Bud Light beer cases.

He ended with:

“F*ck Bud Light and f*ck Anheuser Bush.

“Have a terrific day.”

BREAKING: Joe Biden Just Got The BAD News

(CBrief) – President Joe Biden got some more bad news this week as he continues to deal with a series of foreign and domestic situations that some see spiraling out of control.

“President Joe Biden’s job performance rating has mostly held steady for more than a year and currently stands at 44% approve vs. 56% disapprove in the latest Fox News national survey. That’s net negative by 12 points. The last time that he received positive marks was September 2021, and that was by 1 point (50%-49%),” Fox News reported.

“Approval of the president hovers at a low point among several key voting groups, including women (43% now vs. 42% low), voters ages 45+ (41% vs. 39% low), suburban voters (41% vs. 39% low), rural voters (31% vs. 30% low) and Democrats (81% vs. 78% low) – Democratic men in particular (79% vs. 78% low). He’s at a low mark of 41% approval among suburban women,” the report added.

The poll also found that a majority of voters do not approve of Biden’s performance on these key issues: 53% disapprove on national security, 54% on foreign policy, 60% on border security, and 64% on his handling the economy.

“Biden’s numbers cratered in the fall of 2021 after the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle and the onset of hyperinflation,” said Republican pollster Daron Shaw, who conducts the Fox News poll with Democrat Chris Anderson. “Since then, his approval has barely moved, despite a midterm election, economic ups and downs, and several legislative policy rollouts.”

According to the new Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll, President Biden’s approval rating has dropped to 38 percent, down from 45 percent in February and 41 percent in January. This puts his approval rating dangerously close to the lowest of his presidency when only 36 percent of people approved of his job performance in July 2021, as rising costs in gasoline, groceries, and other areas affected the nation.

The economy is the most significant factor in the low approval rating of the Biden administration, according to the poll. Only around 25 percent of people believe that the national economy is doing well or that the country is on the right track. Other issues, such as national security and healthcare, are also being emphasized to the Biden administration.

Not surprisingly, a majority of Republicans did not approve of Biden’s job performance, including his handling of the economy, while Democrats were more supportive. The poll indicated that 63 percent of Democrats approved of his handling of the economy, and 76 percent approved of his presidency.

However, those figures are declining among Democrats under the age of 45, possibly due to Biden’s failure to fulfill his environmental protection pledges, such as his approval of the Willow project in Alaska, the Washington Examiner noted, citing the poll.

As worries about a potential recession grow, particularly following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, the Biden administration is grappling to maintain stability, while the president contemplates when to reveal his plans for the 2024 election. If Biden ultimately decides to seek another term, which is widely anticipated, the economy is expected to be a significant factor in determining the election’s outcome, the outlet noted.

Earlier this week, a Monmouth University survey found Biden’s job approval was stagnant, and Vice President Kamala Harris had a low approval rating as the 2024 election creeps closer.

“The survey, released Tuesday, finds 41% of Americans approve of Biden’s job as president, while 51% disapprove, which is only a slight dip from Biden’s 43% approval rating in January (though the change is well within the poll’s margin of error). Just over a third of those surveyed — 36% — approve of Harris’ job as vice president, while 53% disapprove,” NBC News reported.

“But Biden and Harris still receive high marks from Democrats as Biden gears up for an expected re-election campaign launch this spring. Just 9% of Democrats disapprove of Biden and 86% approve of his job as president, while 76% approve of Harris and 16% disapprove,” the outlet added.

“There are some differences between the two, but on the whole, rank, and file Democrats seem to hold largely positive opinions of both the president and vice president,” Monmouth University Polling Institute director Patrick Murray said in a statement.

BREAKING: Former Republican Gov’s Chief Of Staff Shot Dead By FBI

(CBrief) – The former chief-of-staff for former Republican Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has been shot dead after a confrontation with the FBI.

It happened on Monday night when the fugitive for an aide to the governor, Roy McGrath, was shot dead after a three-week manhunt after he fled before he was scheduled to stand trial for wire fraud.

The New York Post reported: “FBI agents found McGrath near Knoxville, Tenn., around 6:30 p.m. Monday, and he was shot and killed during the confrontation, according to his attorney and federal authorities, the Baltimore Banner reports. It’s unclear if gunfire from the agents or a self-inflicted wound killed the former Maryland governor’s chief of staff. The FBI did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.”

“It’s an absolute tragedy, the loss of Roy McGrath’s life and the unfortunate events that have transpired over the past three weeks,” his attorney Joseph Murtha said. “Roy McGrath never wavered about his innocence.”

“A federal grand jury has returned a superseding indictment adding an additional charge against Roy C. McGrath, age 52, of Naples, Florida, for falsification of records to the previous federal charges of wire fraud and theft in programs receiving federal funds,” the Department of Justice said on June 28, 2022.

“The superseding indictment was announced by First Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Maryland, Phil Selden and Special Agent in Charge Thomas J. Sobocinski of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Baltimore Field Office. The United States Attorney has recused himself from this case,” it said.

“Honesty and integrity are essential elements of a public servant and those who operate in public trust,” said First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, Phil Selden. “Together with our federal and state partners, our office will continue to investigate and prosecute public officials who attempt to violate their trusted positions.”

“McGrath was appointed by the Governor of Maryland to serve as Executive Director of Maryland Environmental Service (MES), a corporation owned by the State of Maryland to provide environmental services such as water and wastewater management, solid waste management, composting, recycling, dredged material management and other services to state and local government agencies, federal government entities, and private clients. MES, which was headquartered in Millersville, Maryland, generated its operating funds from fees charged to governmental and private clients for its services, as well as from federal grants and funding from federal agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of the Interior, and the U.S. Department of Transportation. MES functioned as an independent state corporation which did not pay its employees according to the state government pay scale but did require its employees to comply with state travel regulations, annual leave policies, and policies regarding compensatory leave, and time and attendance reporting. McGrath resigned from MES as of May 31, 2020, to become the Governor’s Chief of Staff effective as of June 1, 2020,” the Department of Justice said.

“Count Eight of the superseding indictment alleges that after press accounts of his “severance” payment from MES of a year’s salary or $233,647.23 occurred in August 2020, McGrath knowingly falsified a document which falsely purported to be a memorandum to the Governor of Maryland, referenced a salary of $233,647.23, and a severance package from MES. The allegedly false memorandum contained a blue check mark, as characteristically used by the Governor of Maryland, in the “approved” box which created the illusion that the Governor had seen and approved the memorandum. The allegedly false memorandum was backdated to May 18, 2020, which the indictment alleges was the date McGrath interviewed for the Chief of Staff position with the Governor,” it said.

“The previously filed indictment alleges that to conceal the payments and circumstances surrounding the payments from the Governor of Maryland and the MES Board of Directors, McGrath falsely told the MES Board that the Governor was aware of and consented to the severance payment. As detailed in the indictment, when the Governor learned about the severance package and questioned McGrath about it, McGrath falsely stated that the MES Board of Directors had offered him the severance payment in accordance with their usual practice. McGrath also attempted to delete or caused to be deleted from the public minutes of the MES Board of Directors meeting, any mention of compensation of McGrath or the Executive Director of MES, or the amount $233,647.23, or the description of the compensation as a ‘year’s salary,’” it said.

“If convicted of the federal charges, McGrath faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison for each of the five counts of wire fraud; a maximum of 10 years in federal prison for each of two counts of embezzling funds from an organization receiving more than $10,000 in federal benefits; and a maximum of 20 years in federal prison for the charge of falsifying a document,” it said.

WATCH: Marjorie Taylor Greene Leaves 60 Minutes Host SPEECHLESS

(SNews) – Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) sat down for an interview on “60 Minutes” last night and left CBS News correspondent Lesley Stahl speechless numerous times.

The congresswoman took no prisoners and accused President Joe Biden and the Democrats of supporting the “grooming” of children.

“Sexualizing children is what pedophiles do to children,” Greene told Stahl.

She also settled scores with Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) and former Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan, who she blasted as “RINOs.”

Greene has stood tall in the face of the attacks her critics leveled against her, which Stahl reminded the congresswoman of at beginning of the interview.

She read a list of the insults hurled at Greene but she refused to take the bait.

The discussion turned to comments Greene has previously made about young American children being sexualized at an early age.

However, Greene stood firm and doubled down, leaving Stahl gasping for words.

BREAKING: Ivanka Trump Responds to Father’s Indictment

(CBrief) – Former first daughter Ivanka Trump has spoken out following the indictment of her father, Donald Trump, by a Manhattan grand jury on Thursday.

As reported by Business Insider, Ivanka Trump took to Instagram Stories to issue a short statement, saying that she is “pained” for both her father and the country.

“I love my father and I love my country. Today, I am pained for both,” the statement began. “I appreciate the voices across the political spectrum expressing support and concern.”

On Thursday, it was confirmed by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Donald Trump’s lawyer that a grand jury had indicted the former president. The grand jury had been hearing evidence related to alleged hush-money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels, using money from Trump’s company, ahead of the 2016 election.

Ivanka has not been active in her father’s current presidential campaign and released a statement last fall after he announced another run that she wouldn’t be a part of it after she was noticeably absent from the event at Mar-a-Lago.

It came after the New York Post reported that Donald Trump “spent part of daughter Tiffany’s lavish Mar-a-Lago wedding this past weekend trying to convince his much-loved elder daughter, Ivanka, and son-in-law Jared Kushner to be with him on stage” when he made his announcement.

“I love my father very much,” Ivanka said. “This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”

“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” she added, per the Daily Wire. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”

She told Fox News that she is close to her dad and that “hasn’t changed and will never change.”

“I’ve had many roles over the years, but that of daughter is one of the most elemental and consequential,” she said. “I am loving this time with my kids, loving life in Miami, and the freedom and privacy with having returned to the private sector. This has been one of the greatest times of my life.”

As she discussed her three children — Arabella, 11, Joseph, 9, and Theodore, 6 — she noted that they were at “critical ages” and as such she preferred to enjoy “these moments with them.”

“We’re happy where we are right now, and we will continue to support my father — as his kids,” Ivanka Trump added.

Donald Trump Jr. was not in attendance because he was on a hunting trip. Tiffany Trump was also not in attendance after getting married over the weekend. Kushner was at Mar-a-Lago for the announcement.

“America’s comeback starts right now,” Trump said at the time to a room full of supporters. “Unlike other presidents, I kept my promises.”

“The world was at peace, America was prospering, and our country was on track for an amazing future— because I made big promises to the American People and, unlike other Presidents, I kept my promises,” he said. “Under our leadership, we were a great and glorious nation, something you haven’t heard for quite a long period of time. We were a strong nation, and importantly we were a free nation. Now, we are a nation in decline. We are a failing nation.”

Regarding the indictment, Fox News reported on Friday: “The source told Fox News Digital that Bragg had requested Trump’s surrender to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office by Friday — the day after the indictment — but that timeline was extended due to arrangements needed to be made by Secret Service. The source told Fox News Digital Trump will ‘most likely’ surrender on Tuesday.

“Typically, a defendant who surrenders in a nonviolent case would surrender to a central booking location, legal experts have explained. However, special accommodations are likely being arranged because this indictment involves a former president of the United States. The Secret Service and the New York Police Department are expected to play a large role in the process next week,” the report added.

BREAKING: Secret Service Steps In To Protect Trump

(CBrief) – The Secret Service has decided how it will proceed in handling the indictment of former President Donald Trump.

This is the first time in history that a president or former president has been indicted and, as someone who is afforded Secret Service protection the protocol for such an arrest is, or was, unknown. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg wanted the former president to be arraigned in his office on Friday but the Secret Service put the brakes on that and said it needed more time to prepare.

Fox News reported: “The source told Fox News Digital that Bragg had requested Trump’s surrender to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office by Friday — the day after the indictment — but that timeline was extended due to arrangements needed to be made by Secret Service. The source told Fox News Digital Trump will ‘most likely’ surrender on Tuesday. However, special accommodations are likely being arranged because this indictment involves a former president of the United States. The Secret Service and the New York Police Department are expected to play a large role in process next week.”

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on Thursday night that the state will not cooperate with any request to extradite Donald Trump after the former president was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury.

“The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American,” DeSantis tweeted.

“The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda,” he added.

Extradition would only be required if Trump refused to leave his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida to attend an arraignment hearing in New York.

The most recent witness to testify was David Pecker, the former publisher of the National Enquirer, who appeared before the grand jury on Monday.

“Pecker was a key player in the $150,000 “catch-and-kill” payment to former Playboy model Karen McDougal, in which the Enquirer bought the publishing rights to her claim that she — like Daniels — had an affair with Trump before he became president. The Enquirer never reported McDougal’s allegations but its parent company, American Media Inc., featured her in other publications. Trump has denied having sex with either woman and has denied any wrongdoing in connection with the payments to them,” according to the New York Post.

Manhattan District Attorney Bragg responded last week to a potential indictment and arrest of former President Donald Trump. Bragg issued a vague statement that did not actually provide any information about what might happen next.

Bragg sent a letter to members of the House Judiciary Committee after they sent their own letter “demanding communications, documents, and testimony relating to Bragg’s unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority and the potential indictment of former President Donald Trump.”

In his letter, the Manhattan DA said his office will “publicly state the conclusion of our investigation—whether we conduct our work without bringing charges, or move forward with an indictment.”

Bragg also addressed the letter the House Judiciary Committee previously sent to his office and said, “Your letter dated March 20, 2023, (the ‘Letter’), in contrast, is an unprecedented inquiry into a pending local prosecution. The letter only came after Donald Trump created a false expectation that he would be arrested the next day and his lawyers reportedly urged you to intervene. Neither fact is a legitimate basis for a congressional inquiry.”

The Manhattan grand jury hearing evidence in the criminal investigation into Trump has taken many turns in the last week.

The case involves Trump’s alleged role in hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election, allegedly to keep Daniels quiet about an affair the two of them had in 2006.

The indictment has triggered outrage from many given federal prosecutors in the U.S. attorneys office for the Southern District of New York chose not to charge Trump in 2019 related to the payment to Daniels.

The Federal Election Commission also tossed its investigation into the matter in 2021.

The DA’s reported decision also comes as Trump is running for president in 2024, which has led to some arguing that the investigation and charges are politically motivated.

WOW: Top Dem DESTROYS Joe Biden

(SNews) – Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) went scorched on Joe Biden accusing the president of a major betrayal and perverting the law to pursue an ideological agenda.

In an op-ed published by the Wall Street Journal, Manchin called out Biden’s implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act saying unelected bureaucrats and political appointees are abusing the Act and subverting the law to increase spending levels. Manchin says this is a major “betrayal.”

Manchin wrote: “America is fast approaching another needless emergency—the raising of the national debt ceiling. This impending crisis isn’t an accident but a result of the inaction of various actors who refuse to confront fiscal reality, sit down, negotiate and make hard decisions for the sake of our nation’s future.

“While all parties have a responsibility to negotiate in good faith, recent actions make clear to me that the Biden administration is determined to pursue an ideological agenda rather than confront the clear and present danger that debts and deficits pose to our nation.

“Since Covid-19 began, we have added more than $8 trillion to the national debt. Despite explicit direction from Congress to pay down our debt in the Inflation Reduction Act, the administration seems more determined than ever to pervert that law and abuse existing authorities to increase spending.”

Manchin explains that the Inflation Reduction Act he helped Biden pass has been abused by unelected bureaucrats.

He wrote:

“Instead of implementing the law as intended, unelected ideologues, bureaucrats and appointees seem determined to violate and subvert the law to advance a partisan agenda that ignores both energy and fiscal security.

“Specifically, they are ignoring the law’s intent to support and expand fossil energy and are redefining “domestic energy” to increase clean-energy spending to potentially deficit-breaking levels.

“The administration is attempting at every turn to implement the bill it wanted, not the bill Congress actually passed.

“Ignoring the debt and deficit implications of these actions as the time nears to raise the debt ceiling isn’t only wrong, it’s policy and political malpractice.

“The president has the power, today, to direct his administration to follow the law, as well as to sit down with congressional leaders and negotiate meaningful, serious reforms to the federal budget.

“Failing to do so may score political points with left-wing partisans, but generations of Americans will ultimately pay the price,” he wrote.

JUST IN: Republicans Get Terrifying Election News

(CBrief) – As the election for the next Wisconsin Supreme Court judge closes in, Republicans got some tough news.

Democrat Supreme Court candidate Janet Protasiewicz has outraised her conservative opponent Daniel Kelly to the tune of more than 5-to-1 in the most recent reporting period, which is due in part to more than $8.8 million from the Wisconsin Democrat Party.

WisPolitics reported: “Protasiewicz reported nearly $12.4 million raised between Feb. 7 and March 20, $10.6 million spent and almost $2.1 million cash on hand. She’s now detailed more than $14.5 million in contributions since the start of 2022. Kelly, the former justice, reported $2.2 million raised over the pre-election period, $2 million spent, and $395,098 in the bank. Since launching his campaign, he’s raised more than $2.7 million.”

“For both candidates, their overall fundraising totals include the late contributions they’ve detailed to the state since the pre-election reporting period closed last week. During the most recent period, the state Dem Party gave just over $8 million to Protasiewicz in monetary donations along with more than $800,000 in in-kind donations for expenses such as polls, online ads, and mail. Protasiewicz then plowed a good chunk of that money into TV, reporting $8.3 million in expenditures on TV ads during the six-week period,” the outlet added.

What’s more, the election has a national significance which is evidenced by the fact that, of the $3.3 million the Democrat candidate has raised, more than $2 million came from donors who are not residents of Wisconsin.

It came from around 17,000 donors which averaged around $119 per donation to the candidate.

“She reported 30 donors who gave her the maximum contribution of $20,000. Of those, 27 live outside Wisconsin. The three in-state max donors included former Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig,” WisPolitics said.

“Other notable donations include $5,000 each from former Dem guv candidate Mary Burke and former Wisconsin first lady Jessica Doyle,” it said.

If the Democrat candidate wins it could be an end to Republican dominance in the state as it would effectively give Democrats a majority on the state Supreme Court which would give the Party the ability to redraw state maps to limit Republican Party’s power.

Politico reported:

Most immediately, the court will likely decide the fate of abortion rights in Wisconsin; that and crime have been the focus of much of the debate surrounding the race. But there’s another hugely consequential matter the court could take up: a challenge to the state’s congressional district and legislative lines. And an adverse ruling for Republicans would pose a direct threat to the delegation’s GOP-heavy makeup.

Currently, Republicans have a near-ironclad hold on the state legislature, a fact that has hamstrung Democratic Gov. Tony Evers throughout his two terms. The GOP is a few seats shy of a supermajority in the state Assembly, and a special election for a red-leaning state Senate seat on Tuesday will determine if the GOP hits the two-thirds mark in the state Senate again.

The state’s congressional delegation, meanwhile, is 6-2 Republican — four safe Republican seats, two deep blue Democratic districts, and a pair of red-leaning but potentially competitive districts that the GOP carried in the midterms.

But Protasiewicz has faced criticism for suspending the sentence of a convicted domestic abuser who then murdered two people after she suspended his sentence, Fox News reported.

Matthew J. Neumann was sentenced to 72 years in prison after murdering two of his employees after the Democrat candidate suspended his sentence, which she did even with his extensive criminal history.

“Every single case is unique,” the candidate said. “Integrity is one of my hallmarks. Absolute integrity. I looked at what I looked at in each one of those unique cases and made a decision that I thought was appropriate.”

“All I have heard is a sketch of a handful of cases that they thought they could use against me,” the Democrat said.

But Kelly said that the cases he highlighted are “representative” of Protasiewicz having “weak-on-crime sentencing.”

“It’s the reasoning that goes behind those sentences that’s problematic,” the Republican candidate said.

“There’s no way that COVID provides a ‘Get Out of Jail Free’ card for a man who raped a woman,” he said.

JUST IN: Mike Pence Ordered To TESTIFY

(CBrief) – A federal judge has ruled that former Vice President Mike Pence must testify to a grand jury about conversations he had with former President Donald Trump leading up to January 6, 2021.

“But the judge said – in a ruling that remains under seal – that Pence can still decline to answer questions related to his actions on January 6 itself, when he was serving as president of the Senate for the certification of the 2020 presidential election, according to one of the sources,” CNN reported.

“Pence still has the ability to appeal. Trump has repeatedly lost executive privilege assertions he’s tried to make in the special counsel’s investigation. It’s another win for special counsel Jack Smith, who is investigating the Trump-aligned effort to subvert the 2020 election. Smith subpoenaed Pence for testimony and documents earlier this year. After news broke of the subpoena, Pence and his advisers, indicated that the former vice president would challenge the subpoena under the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause, which shields lawmakers from certain law enforcement actions connected to their legislative duties,” the outlet added.

“I am going to fight the Biden DOJ subpoena for me to appear before the grand jury because I believe it’s unconstitutional and unprecedented,” Pence said at an event in February. He has suggested that – because he was also serving as president of the Senate during the January 6 certification vote – the constitutional clause covered the conduct that investigators are looking at.

The ruling comes as Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson has been airing new footage in recent days on his Fox News program from the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

The chief of the U.S. Capitol Police issued a memo to his staff on Tuesday following the airing of previously unseen security footage by Carlson, which showed police officers appearing to stand passively as a large crowd entered the Capitol that day.

Police Chief Tom Manger condemned the comments made during the airing of the footage on Carlson’s Monday night program, stating that it was “filled with offensive and misleading conclusions” about the riot of January 6, 2021, when a group of people breached the U.S. Capitol building, causing disruptions to lawmakers who were in the process of certifying President Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.

“The program conveniently cherry-picked from the calmer moments of our 41,000 hours of video,” Manger claimed. “The commentary fails to provide context about the chaos and violence that happened before or during these less tense moments.”

Manger noted that Capitol Police “maintains, as anyone with common sense would, that had Officer Sicknick not fought valiantly for hours on the day he was violently assaulted, Officer Sicknick would not have died the next day.”

In his memo, Manger thanked and praised members of the Capitol Police force, commending their efforts on January 6.

“You fought like hell on January 6 and risked your lives to protect the Constitution and everything this country stands for,” he wrote. “You, along with our law enforcement partners, saved every member of Congress and their staff.”

Carlson was provided access to some 40,000 hours of previously unseen surveillance video by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Ky.), a move that was criticized by Democrats and some Republicans, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.

“It was a mistake in my view for Fox News to depict this in a way that is completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks,” McConnell said, according to USA Today.

Utah Republican Sen. Mitt Romney said it’s “really sad to see Tucker Carlson go off the rails like that.” Romey added that he’s “joining a range of shock jocks that are disappointing America and feeding falsehoods.”

“The American people saw what happened on Jan. 6,” Romney told reporters. “They’ve seen the people that got injured. They saw the damage to the building. You can’t hide the truth by selectively picking a few minutes out of tapes and saying this is what went on. It’s so absurd. It’s nonsense. It’s a very dangerous thing to do, to suggest that attacking the Capitol of the United States is in any way acceptable and it’s anything other than a serious crime, against democracy and against our country. And people saw that it was violent and destructive and should never happen again. But trying to normalize that behavior is dangerous and disgusting.”

Carlson called Romney and other establishment Republican senators “weak” and “vicious” after they criticized him for airing the tapes.

WOW: Jen Psaki Gets BAD News

(CBrief) – Former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki premiered her new show on MSNBC recently and she’s already facing blowback.

As Grabien’s Tom Elliot pointed out on Twitter, Psaki attempted a segment where she attacked Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis over his views on Ukraine. Psaki, who is supposed to be this great communicator, instead grabbed headlines when she persistently began waving her arms all over the place while trying to make a point.

“Okay. So, if you’re having a hard time following, you’re not alone. But let me try to recap here. It’s nothing more than a territorial dispute, but the person overseeing this, little territorial dispute, is a war criminal. But at the same time, we have to worry much more about our own border than said war criminal. Got it, okay, I think. And look, I know there are politics involved here. Of course there are. This is a potential presidential primary that he’s gonna get himself engaged in. But this isn’t just about positioning in a Republican primary. The rest of the world actually watches stuff like this very closely, including Vladimir Putin. If he sees the two leading Republican candidates for president waffling on support for Ukraine, it gives some incentive to wait out the next year and a half and continue to pulverize Ukrainian civilians, rather than even being open to negotiating anything,” Psaki began.

Then, the extreme arm-flapping began.

“So, Ron DeSantis may think this is just another political issue to manage in a primary, but what he is saying could actually impact the war. Europeans are watching this, too, and if they think the United States might waver in their support, that can impact their calculus as well. Look, I was with President Biden on his first overseas trip as president when the common concern he heard from other foreign leaders was whether they could depend on our commitment to our values and to our partners after four years of Donald Trump. ‘How long would it last?’ was their question,” Psaki said.

“And you better believe that those concerns will resurface if they are sensing a return to the isolationist sentiment from the leading Republican candidates for president. Now, it may be that Ron DeSantis has lurched away from Trump on this issue and is a firm supporter of helping Ukraine. It may be that he’s lurched back. I honestly can’t tell. But what I do know is this: Consistency matters. Commitment to values matters. And at the moment, Ron DeSantis isn’t showing much of either of those,” she added.
