(SNews) – Dr. Anthony Fauci persuaded renowned scientists to fabricate a paper on the origins of COVID-19 to cover up the lab leak narrative, congressional investigators have alleged.

Details have emerged to suggest that Fauci sought to cover up evidence that he offshored illegal gain-of-function research to China.

The dangerous research sought to make bat coronaviruses more transmissible to humans.

In wake of the first Covid outbreak in China in 2019, several top scientists raised the alarm that the virus appeared to have been engineered in a lab.

However, they quickly changed their tune after Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) awarded the scientists with millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded grants, as Slay News reported.

On February 1, 2020, shortly after the virus had spread internationally, Fauci and his boss, NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins, held a conference call with at least eleven other scientists.

During the call, several of the scientists warned that COVID-19 may have leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China.

They also raised concerns that the virus appeared to have been intentionally genetically manipulated.

Three days after the call, four participants from the call (Scripps Research virologist Kristian Andersen, University of Sydney virologist Edward Holmes, Tulane School of Medicine virologist Robert Garry, University of Edinburgh virologist Andrew Rambaut and Columbia University virologist Ian Lipkin) seemingly discarded their concerns over a lab leak.

Andersen even publicly slammed the lab leak theory as one of the “main crackpot theories going around” and blasted the idea as “demonstrably false.”

The scientists then drafted “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” and sent the paper to Fauci and Collins.

Despite not being credited yet, Dr. Jeremy Farrar, the current Chief Scientist at the World Health Organization (WHO), was also heavily involved.

As Slay News first reported last week, two authors of the “Proximal Origin” paper, Andersen and Garry, received millions in NIH grants from Fauci after they changed their tune.

Now, according to the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, Fauci “prompted” the creation of the paper:

New evidence released by the Select Subcommittee today suggests that Dr. Fauci “prompted” the drafting of a publication that would “disprove” the lab leak theory, the authors of this paper skewed available evidence to achieve that goal, and Dr. Jeremy Farrar went uncredited despite significant involvement.

The United States was doing risky gain-of-function research on U.S. soil until 2014 when the Obama administration banned it.

Four months before the ban, Dr. Fauci offshored it to Wuhan, China through New York nonprofit, EcoHealth Alliance.

After Sars-CoV-2 broke out in an area close to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Fauci engaged in a massive campaign to deny the possibility of a lab leak from the lab that he was funding.

Instead, Fauci tried to pin the blame on a yet-to-be-discovered zoonotic intermediary species.

JUST IN: Biden’s Mysterious Financial Move Exposed

(CBrief) – Questions continue to swirl around a financial move President Joe Biden made in December, with the White House and other members of the administration failing to provide an explanation.

Biden obtained a $250,000 line of credit on his Delaware beach house, the timing and reason for which remain unclear. The development occurred as investigations into his son Hunter’s questionable business activities continue to intensify, and as concerns persist regarding his own classified document controversy.

Last month, Fox News reported that Biden signed documents on December 5th to secure a variable rate line of credit on his Rehoboth, Delaware beach house from M&T Bank, using its equity which is valued at $2.74 million. Despite the loan being publicly disclosed for almost a month, the White House communications team has declined to answer any questions from the media regarding the purpose or rationale behind the President’s decision to obtain the loan, representing another instance of limited transparency from the administration, the Western Journal noted.

While the White House acknowledged the existence of the loan, they have declined to provide any further details upon being pressed for additional information. In a recent instance, Karine Jean-Pierre, Biden’s press secretary, was asked about the loan while aboard Air Force One, but instead of providing an answer, she referred the question to another department within the administration, the report said.

“Yeah, I saw reports on that,” Jean Pierre said, according to Fox News. “I would just refer you to the White House Counsel’s Office.”

But that office also has refused to provide answers, the Western Journal noted, adding:

The Delaware beach house is the same property that Biden spent more than $500,000 in taxpayer funds building a wall around to protect him from outsiders.

The barrier was started early in his presidency at exactly the same time he was still bragging about how he had canceled the construction of walls on our southern border that had been started by President Donald Trump.

The beach house is also one of the sites recently searched by the FBI after it was shockingly discovered that Biden illegally stored classified government documents in his Wilmington, Delaware, garage and at his former Washington office.

The classified document controversy arose just a year after Biden publicly criticized former President Donald Trump for storing documents illegally at his Florida residence, and five years after he stated in an interview that he lacked access to classified documents.

To date, the FBI has conducted searches at four different locations, including Biden’s two Delaware residences, his Washington D.C. office, and the archives of his papers at the University of Delaware, in search of classified documents that may have been illegally held. The extent of the documents discovered at these locations has not been fully disclosed.

“The discoveries forced Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as special counsel in mid-January to investigate Biden’s handling of the classified documents,” Fox News noted.

Amidst ongoing scrutiny regarding Hunter’s questionable multimillion-dollar business dealings, the president is facing additional scrutiny regarding the recent loan. These concerns come as the Republican-led House of Representatives initiates investigations into Hunter’s financial and tax records, the WJ reported.

Republicans have initiated numerous investigations, many of which are based on banks filing “suspicious activity reports” related to Hunter’s foreign business dealings. Those reports pertain to various business transactions in China, Ukraine, and several other countries.

Hunter is also facing allegations of violating U.S. disclosure laws by failing to register as a foreign government representative, thereby breaching the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Many of his business deals, particularly those with companies and organizations affiliated with the governments of Russia, China, and Ukraine, raise concerns about his compliance with this requirement. Despite engaging in these activities, he did not register as a foreign representative in the U.S. as mandated by law.

“With all these questions and investigations swirling around them, Joe and Hunter have earned another dubious honor. In the history of our federal government, they are the first father-and-son duo to be under federal investigations at the same time and for separate violations of federal laws,” the WJ added.

BREAKING: Californians SINK Newsom’s Big Plan

(JTNews) – A clear majority of California voters do not want Gov. Gavin Newsom, D, to pursue a presidential run in 2024, a recent survey has found.

Nearly 70% of registered vote opposed a Newsom presidential bid in a recent Quinnipiac University survey. Newsom has indicated previously that, should President Joe Biden opt against pursuing a second term, he would “absolutely” run himself, a prospect that has failed to find favor in his home state as just 22% of California voters supported such a bid.

“A resounding thumbs down from the home team as California voters tell the governor: if you have designs on the big job beyond Sacramento, we’re not on board,” Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy said of the results.

Newsom currently enjoys a 44% approval rating in the state while 43% of voters disapprove. In 2021, Newsom survived a recall election led by detractors who sought to boot him from office. He later secured a second term in the 2022 midterms.

Should he opt to run in 2024, a victorious Newsom would have to leave his current posting midway through his term.

BREAKING: Elon Musk Exposes The DIRTY Truth Behind Censorship

(SNews) – The latest installment of the “Twitter Files” has revealed that taxpayer money being handed out by the federal government to tackle so-called “disinformation” funded a “cottage industry” of censorship “labs.”

Twitter boss Elon Musk tasked journalist and author Matt Taibbi with detailing the findings in the 17th installment of the company’s internal communications files.

In his latest Twitter Files report published Thursday, Taibbi notes the U.S. federal government’s role in creating a “new cottage industry” of “disinformation labs.”

These labs were given tax dollars to ostensibly combat fraudulent online propaganda in the interest of national security.

The “Twitter Files #17” thread focuses on the Global Engagement Center (GEC).

The GEC is a subsidiary of the State Department.

Its claimed objective is to “recognize, understand, expose, and counter foreign state and non-state propaganda and disinformation efforts aimed at undermining or influencing the policies, security, or stability of the United States, its allies, and partner nations.”

According to the Twitter Files, The Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRL), which is funded by the federal government via the GEC, regularly sent blacklists of online profiles to Twitter executives and staffers requesting censorship.

Taibbi emphasized how news media were more compliant than Twitter in accepting the government’s “disinformation” claims at face value.

He describes news media personalities as “an easier mark” than Twitter staffers for false and unsubstantiated claims made by the GEC and DFRL regarding online “disinformation.”

Taibbi continues by highlighting the vapidity of the newly-manufactured “anti-disinformation” organizations.

He notes the subservient compliance of news media outlets to such organizations’ claims.

“Most of these ‘experts’ know nothing,” he writes.

“Many have skill, if you can call mesmerizing dumb reporters a skill, but in the area of identifying true bad actors, few know more than the average person on the street.”

“The scary angle on GEC is not so much the agency as the sprawling infrastructure of ‘disinformation labs’ that have grown around it,” he adds.

Taibbi concludes that his findings prove that American taxpayers are funding digital blacklists used to manipulate them.

The government-funded GEC “littered the media landscape with flawed or flat-out wrong news stories,” he writes.

“Exacerbating matters, Americans in both cases paid taxes to become the subject of these manipulative operations.”

(SNews) – Liberal talk show host Bill Maher has taken aim at the Left’s “woke” agenda and called out transgenders for going “too far” with efforts to “shut down debate.”

In a new interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Maher blasted “the woke point of view,” which he argues is very different from his own liberal views.

Maher said “the trans community is asking for too much” from people and reverts to cancel culture against those who don’t comply with the radical Left’s agenda.

Tapper suggested to Maher that comedians shouldn’t make jokes about transgenders.

The CNN host seemingly defended the point of view shared by a small number of “woke” comedians who claim that jokes about transgender people amount to “punching down.”

“I don’t really agree,” Maher said.

“I mean, I think the trans community is asking for too much,” Maher said.

“Again, the difference between liberal and woke.

“And it’s great we live in a time where people like that can freely live the lives they should live with all the dignity and protection of the law that we can afford them, like anybody else in society.

“I think that’s the liberal point of view.”

Maher continued by explaining how “woke” people view the matter.

“The woke point of view is something very different, like — ‘well, babies are born now and just jump ball, we don’t know what they are,’” Maher mocked.

“‘Congratulations, you have a boy. Well, let’s not be hasty. There’s a penis. That could be an indication of a male, but it’s — it’s really– we’ll find out later. And we can always get rid of it.’”

“And it’s not wrong to have this discussion,” Maher continued.

He then highlighted how “woke” people try to claim that even having the discussion is a form of hate or a phobia, a tactic that is used to shut down debate.

“They absolutely do want to shut down debate,” Maher added.

BREAKING: Chinese Communist Party DEMANDS Elon Musk Stop Immediately

(SNews) – The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has issued a warning to Elon Musk over the Twitter boss’s recent promotion of the report concluding that Covid leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China.

As Slay News reported, a classified report from the Department of Energy (DOE) emerged regarding the origins of Covid.

In the report, which was obtained by the Wall Street Journal, the DOE concludes that COVID-19 originated from a virus leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

The report has provoked a severe backlash as it proves that Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration has been covering up its belief that the Wuhan lab is the most likely origin of the virus.

Meanwhile, China has been outraged that the theory, which was previously shut down and smeared by the corporate media as “racist” and a “conspiracy theory,” has now gone mainstream.

The CCP has now set its targets on Musk after the Twitter boss retweeted a couple of tweets about the DOE report.

Via its official mouthpiece, the CCP-run propaganda outlet The Global Times, Beijing suggested Musk’s business interests in China could be harmed if he continues to promote such claims.

The newspaper suggested Musk was “breaking the pot of China” by blaming the nation for the outbreak of the virus.

According to CBNC reporter Eunice Yoon, the phrase “breaking the pot after eating” is the equivalent of “biting the hand that feeds you.”

The potential ramifications for Musk upsetting the Chinese could be significant.

Musk’s automaker Tesla has an “expansive factory campus in Shanghai, and China is the electric vehicle manufacturer’s second-largest market.”

Meanwhile, FBI Director Christopher Wray has now also said that the origin of Covid was “most likely a potential lab incident”.

Speaking during an interview with Fox News’s Bret Baier, Wray said that the CCP has been attempting to undermine the investigation into the issue.

“I will just make the observation that the Chinese government, it seems to me, has been doing its best to try to thwart and obfuscate the work here,” he said.

“The work that we’re doing, the work that our U.S. government and close foreign partners are doing.

“And that’s unfortunate for everybody.”

The “accidental” lab leak theory was once scorned as a dangerous conspiracy theory by the corporate media, Big Tech companies, and so-called “fact-checkers.”

JUST IN: High School Girls Basketball Refuses to Face Team With Trans Player

(TStarnes) – A Christian high school girls basketball team from Vermont withdrew from the state tournament because its first-round opponent had a transgender player on its roster.

The Mid Vermont Christian School in Hartford was scheduled to play at Long Trail School in Dorset in a first-round Division IV playoff game on Feb. 21. But the school withdrew, citing fairness and the safety of its players in facing a team with a biological male.

“We believe playing against an opponent with a biological male jeopardizes the fairness of the game and the safety of our players,” said Vicky Fogg, head of school at Mid Vermont Christian, according to the Valley News. “Allowing biological males to participate in women’s sports sets a bad precedent for the future of women’s sports in general.”

According to guidelines set by the Vermont Principals’ Association, which governs the state’s high school sports, a person can participate in a sport “consistent with the gender they identify as” provided the school determines them eligible.

According to the Valley News, Lauren Thomas, assistant executive director for the Vermont Principals’ Association, said Mid Vermont Christian sent her a letter stating it would not be entering the tournament but did not elaborate on its decision.

Long Trail School had no issues regarding the transgender player during its 20-game regular-season schedule, according to the Valley News. The forefeit allowed Long Trail to advance to the quarterfinals, where it lost 45-26 on Friday to Arlington Memorial.

“I have received calls [from schools] asking for best practices and how to go forward knowing they were going to play a team with a transgender female on it,” Thomas said. “We just supported our stance and our best practices through our inclusivity statement.”

House Republican Speaker Kevin McCarthy supplied the unreleased security camera footage to Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Johnson remarked about McCarthy’s decision to supply footage to Tucker Carlson, declaring “I’m not being incendiary when I say this, I’ve been saying this for a long time… There is no Republican Party. They’re a dime store front for a terrorist organization.”

“You took an investigation into a federal attack, an attack on our federal government, and gave it to a journalist who is a supporter of terrorism,” Johnson declared, continuing “This is dangerous.”

Johnson complained how Carlson “doesn’t have security clearance,” and asserted “we don’t know if it ends with Tucker Carlson! He can hand it to anybody else. He can hand it to Jesse Waters, right? He can hand it to anybody. All sorts of incompetent people who are in favor of overthrowing this government in a violent fashion.”

Johnson went on, “there are terrorists in this world, [and] some in Congress right now, who want to overthrow our legitimately elected government. And they’ve just given this man information that he can distribute to anybody.”

BOMBSHELL: Dems Illicitly Obtained Military Records on Republicans

(CBrief) – Democrats paid a pair of opposition research groups that allegedly lied in order to obtain Air Force records on nearly a dozen GOP lawmakers, according to a published report.

According to records from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee paid over $280,000 to the opposition research company Due Diligence, according to Federal Election Commission records reviewed by the Daily Caller.

The group obtained the service records of Republican Representatives Don Bacon of Nebraska and Zach Nunn of Iowa, among others, the outlet reported.

Last October, the Air Force initiated an investigation when the Due Diligence Group gained access to the service records of Jennifer-Ruth Green, a Republican candidate and former Air Force veteran. This unauthorized release resulted in the disclosure of a sexual assault that Green experienced during her military service. Green ultimately lost the election to Democratic Representative Frank Mrvan of Indiana. According to Politico, the Air Force informed two Republican congressional candidates, Sam Peters and Kevin Dellicker, that their records had also been improperly released.

“The Air Force Personnel Record Center received multiple requests from Abraham Payton, Background Investigation Analyst with Due Diligence Group, LLC, for your military personnel records,” Air Force Maj. Gen. Troy E. Dunn noted in a letter to Bacon on Feb. 7. “He inappropriately requested copies of your military personnel records for the stated purpose of employment and benefits.”

The Air Force stated to the Examiner that they had mistakenly sent the records to the Due Diligence Group. Republican Rep. Scott Franklin of Florida, who sits on the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, pledged to investigate the issue.

“The unauthorized disclosure of @RepDonBacon, @ZachNunn & 9 others’ service records is an unacceptable failure,” Franklin tweeted.

(CBrief) – Former President Donald Trump is warning that the world is on the brink of World War III and he is blaming President Joe Biden for it.

On his TruthSocial account the former president said that we are in “the most dangerous time in the history of our country” and Biden is leading us to “oblivion.”

It comes as China made a proposal for peace between Russia and Ukraine that President Biden has snubbed.

China called for a comprehensive ceasefire in Ukraine on Friday and President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he was open to considering parts of a 12-point peace plan put forward by Beijing.

On the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Moscow’s ally China urged both sides to agree to a gradual de-escalation, warned against the use of nuclear weapons and said conflict benefited no one.

The plan, set out in a foreign ministry paper, was largely a reiteration of China’s line since Russia launched what it calls its “special military operation” on Feb. 24 last year.

“All parties must stay rational and exercise restraint, avoid fanning the flames and aggravating tensions, and prevent the crisis from deteriorating further or even spiraling out of control,” China said.

“Nuclear weapons must not be used and nuclear wars must not be fought,” it said. “We oppose development, use of biological and chemical weapons by any country under any circumstances.”

But NATO dismissed the proposal.

“China doesn’t have much credibility because they have not been able to condemn the illegal invasion of Ukraine,” NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said.

“Putin’s applauding it, so how could it be any good?” President Biden said to ABC News.

“I’ve seen nothing in the plan that would indicate that there is something that would be beneficial to anyone other than Russia, if the Chinese plan were followed,” he said.

Former President Trump’s comments come after he visited the site of the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio as President Biden visited Ukraine.

Trump arrived to provide aid in the aftermath of a train derailment and personally helped with the delivery of numerous truckloads of bottled water to the area. According to John Rourke, CEO of Blue Line Moving, the company transported a total of 13 pallets of water pallets to East Palestine to assist the small town.

Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung told Breitbart News, “President Trump is meeting with the citizens of East Palestine, and he will never forget them and what they are going through. Contrast that with Biden and the federal government, who have failed them from the beginning.”

“Cleanup crews ended up igniting five train cars to get rid of toxic chemicals in a controlled environment, which created a menacing plume of thick smoke that resembled a mushroom cloud. Images of the controlled detonation were later circulated on social media, sparking concerns around the nation. The incident resulted in about half of the town’s population being ordered to evacuate. While residents have since been told they are allowed to return to their homes, many are still concerned and want answers — but Biden and Buttigieg are nowhere to be found,” Breitbart added.

Several local residents also showed up before Trump’s official arrival and made it clear they are fed up with Biden.
