HBO host Bill Maher criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and Democratic Governor Tim Walz for allegedly disrespecting voters during a CNN interview that was broadcast on Thursday night, which was featured in the subsequent episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Friday.
During this interview, which marked Harris’s first since President Joe Biden declared the conclusion of his reelection campaign on July 21, she and Walz conversed with CNN host Dana Bash. Maher specifically challenged Walz’s assertion that he communicated in a manner akin to that of ordinary Americans.
“No, you don’t,” Maher said. “No, you don’t. You’re a huge liar, like all politicians are.”
“I don’t care by the way,” Maher added. “I’ve always said this about politics, they’re all going to lie they’re politics. It’s what they lie about. I don’t give a shit what you did during the Iraq War, you were in the Guard … I don’t understand why they just can’t and you’re just insulting my intelligence.”
