Top Dem Billionaire TURNS On Joe Biden

Democratic Party megadonor Bill Ackman is advocating for President Joe Biden to “step aside” in favor of another candidate for the crucial 2024 election. Ackman contends that replacing Biden is necessary for the Democrats to have a competitive edge against President Donald Trump.

Expressing concerns about Biden’s current “intellectual” capacity, the billionaire hedge fund manager made this suggestion during an appearance on Bloomberg Television’s “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations.” In the interview, Ackman even expressed a willingness to consider voting for a Republican candidate in 2024 over Biden if he pursues reelection.

It’s noteworthy that Ackman has previously been a supporter of Biden and acknowledged Biden’s accomplishments, stating, “Biden’s done a lot of good things.” Ackman’s argument appears to be focused on concerns about Biden’s ability to effectively lead the country for another term rather than criticizing his overall presidential performance. Ackman suggested that Biden’s legacy might suffer if he becomes the nominee for the 2024 election.

“The right thing for Biden to do is to step aside, and to say he’s not going to run, and create the opportunity for some competition.”

Later in the interview, Ackman added, “You need to be at your intellectual best, and I don’t think Biden is there.

“I don’t say that, you know, with any derision of the president, but I think he’s clearly past his physical and cognitive peak.”
