Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) publicly endorsed Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) as a vice presidential candidate on Sunday. He argued that the exaggerated response from the media to her State of the Union rebuttal, which was both heavily scrutinized and delivered in an unconventional manner, reveals who liberals perceive as their most formidable opponent for the VP nomination.
In response to the backlash she faced for her rebuttal, which some described as “cringe-worthy,” the former 2012 Republican presidential nominee took to a certain platform to come to Britt’s defense.
In a good way, the delivery was over-the-top, out of character—Biden’s, of course. Katie Britt’s too. The media overreaction to hers not his tells us who liberals most fear as VP nominee.

Britt’s original response can be seen below:

TPUSA’s Charlie Kirk explained why Trump needs someone as his VP who is definitely NOT Britt:
I'm sure Katie Britt is a sweet mom and person, but this speech is not what we need. Joe Biden just declared war on the American right and Katie Britt is talking like she's hosting a cooking show whispering about how Democrats "dont get it."
