He ran a great election and helped rewrite the political map in Florida for a generation.

He took on “woke” corporations and brought them to heel.

And now, Disney’s “woke” CEO Bob Chapek has just been fired by the entertainment giant.

In a shock move on Sunday night, Disney fired Chapek and replaced him with former CEO Bob Iger.

Iger was CEO of Disney for 15 years and handed the baton to Chapek.

Chapek drove the company into the ground with his “woke” agenda and picked a fight with DeSantis he could not win.

Months before Disney CEO Bob Chapek tiptoed into a roiling debate in Florida and before the legislation that opponents would call the “Don’t Say Gay” bill was even filed, Gov. Ron DeSantis delivered a threat to business leaders who got in his way.

(CBrief) – On the same day as a tragic attack at an LGBTQ club in Colorado in which five people were killed, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi blamed “MAGA Republicans” for violence against the gay and transgender communities.

Marking Transgender Day of Remembrance the Speaker issued a press release from her office in which she blamed Republicans who are aligned with former President Donald Trump for violence against the LGBTQ community.

“As our nation marks Transgender Day of Remembrance, the House Democratic Caucus mourns the countless Americans stolen away by the scourge of transphobic violence, a crisis that continues to disproportionately harm trans people of color. Today, and every day, let us offer comfort to grieving loved ones, honor the memory of those killed and continue fighting to save lives from the wicked forces of hate,” the Speaker said.

“That fight remains more urgent than ever, as right-wing extremists target transgender Americans’ most fundamental rights and freedoms. Whether spouting dangerous rhetoric from cable news desks or openly bullying schoolchildren from the halls of power, MAGA Republicans are cruelly undermining the safety and well-being of our transgender community. Her comments came prior to news of the attack broke. After the news she issued another press release.

“The attack on Club Q, which fell on the eve of Transgender Day of Remembrance, is despicable — further shattering the sense of safety of LGBTQ Americans across the country. While Democrats have taken important steps to combat gun violence this Congress, this deadly attack is a challenge to our conscience and a reminder that we must keep fighting to do more,” the Speaker said.

“Thank you to the heroic individuals who stopped the gunman and to the brave first responders at the scene. May it be a comfort to the loved ones of those murdered and the Colorado Springs community that all of America mourns with them during this devastating time,” she said.

A 22-year-old gunman entered an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, just before midnight Saturday and immediately opened fire, killing at least five people and injuring 18 others, before patrons confronted and stopped him, police said Sunday.

The suspect in the shooting at Club Q was identified as Anderson Lee Aldrich, according to Colorado Springs Police Chief Adrian Vasquez. He used a long rifle in the shooting, and two firearms were found at the scene, Vasquez said.

At least two people inside the club confronted and fought the gunman and prevented further violence, Vasquez said. “We owe them a great debt of thanks,” he said.

The violence lasted just minutes. Police received numerous 911 calls starting at 11:56 p.m., officers were dispatched at 11:57 p.m., an officer arrived at midnight and the suspect was detained at 12:02 a.m., police said. A total of 39 patrol officers responded, police said, and Fire Department Captain Mike Smaldino said 11 ambulances went to the scene.

Of the 18 people injured, several are in critical condition with gunshot wounds, though the exact number was unclear, officials said.

(CBrief) – There has been tremendous tension between former President Donald Trump and his former Vice President Mike Pence, but they appear to agree on one thing.

Neither of them is a fan of Attorney General Merrick Garland appointing a special counsel to continue to investigate the former president, Fox News reported.

“The appointment of a special counsel is very troubling,” he said to Fox News. “No one is above the law, but I am not sure it’s against the law to take bad advice from your lawyers.”

He said that there has been “years of politicization at the Justice Department,” regarding the investigations into the former president.

“There have been disclosed FBI agents falsifying documents, the FBI using a Clinton campaign-funded opposition research document to support two and a half years of the Russia hoax,” he said.

The former vice president said he was “deeply troubled” when “senior leadership at the Justice Department made the decision to execute a search warrant against the personal residence of the former president of the United States.”

“It had never been done in history,” he said of the search of Mar-a-Lago, as he said that it “sent a divisive message across the country,” and said that it “sent a wrong message about America around the world.”

“There were many more opportunities — short of executing a search warrant on the personal residence of the president of the United States to resolve the issues of classified documents that were present there,” he said.

The former president was furious with the decision by Attorney General Garland.

“Here we go again! I thought that the Unselect Committee on January 6th was a dead issue, especially with the record setting loss off [sic] Liz Chaney in the Great State of Wyoming, and likewise felt that the document hoax case, after reviewing the Clinton Socks Case & the Presidential Record Act, was dead, or at least dying fast,” Trump noted on his Truth Social platform.

“The Democrat Department of ‘Justice’ had nothing, except Trump haters, so they just appointed a Special Prosecutor to go after me further. Disgraceful!” he added.

On Friday, Garland named former federal prosecutor Jack Smith, who worked in the Justice Department during the Obama administration, to be special counsel, The Wall Street Journal reported. Since 2018, Smith has worked at The Hague investigating war crimes. He is the third special counsel in five years to look into issues involving Trump, which has led to cries of political partisanship, especially since Trump declared his intention to run for the GOP presidential nomination once again on Tuesday.

“Based on recent developments, including the former president’s announcement that he’s a candidate for president in the next election, and the sitting president’s stated intention to be a candidate as well, I have concluded that it is in the public interest to appoint a special counsel,” Garland said in remarks on Friday at the Justice Department. “This appointment will not slow the completion of these investigations.”

Mike Davis, a former chief counsel for nominations for then-Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and who is now president of the Article III Project, blasted the appointment as political, noting that President Joe Biden’s Justice Department remains laser-focused on Trump while refusing to move against credible allegations involving him and his son, Hunter Biden.

“By appointing a special counsel to investigate his boss’s top political enemy, Attorney General Merrick Garland continues to politicize and weaponize the Biden Justice Department, all while ignoring smoking-gun evidence of the Biden family’s foreign corruption,” he said in a statement.

“Garland announced he’s essentially giving his special counsel whatever he needs to investigate the non-crimes of objecting to a presidential election (like Democrats did in 1967, 2001, 2005, and 2017) and keeping personal copies of presidential records (like Clinton did with highly classified tapes hidden in his sock drawer), both expressly permitted by federal statutes,” he continued.

“The blatant political bias within the Biden Justice Department erodes trust from the American people that justice is fairly applied to everyone, regardless of their political affiliation,” Davis noted further.

“Like with the politically-motivated and baseless Mueller probe, Garland knows a special counsel will unnecessarily drag on and leave a dark political cloud over Trump while he’s running for president over the next two years. Garland’s third-world election interference will no doubt make his boss happy. Indeed, Biden knows he can’t beat Trump, so he’ll simply indict him,” he added.

Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff Drew Hammill was outraged when a reporter broke the story that Pelosi would step down from leadership but stay in Congress.

Puck’s Tara Palmeri correctly reported on the news before Pelosi announced it publicly on Thursday.

Hammill was furious.

According to Puck News: “Sometime around noon, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will walk out onto the House floor to take her final bow after 19 years as head of the Democratic caucus with a speech about passing the torch from one generation to the next, I’m told.

“But instead of riding high into retirement, as has long been assumed, or becoming ambassador to Italy—a diplomatic posting the White House has been holding open for her—Pelosi will announce that she plans to stay in Congress as a backbencher, roaming the halls in a sort of emeritus role and helping to guide Democrats through their turn in the minority.

“I was told there were multiple drafts of the speech, signifying Pelosi’s indecision and the fluidity of the midterm election results.”

Hammill tried to suggest Palmeri was “a liar” for reporting the story.

However, Hammill’s claim was proved to be a lie after Pelosi confirmed the news just hours later.

“Speaker Pelosi has been overwhelmed by calls from colleagues, friends, and supporters,” Hammill said before Pelosi’s announcement.

“This evening, the Speaker monitored returns in the three remaining critical states.

“The Speaker plans to address her future plans tomorrow to her colleagues. Stay tuned.

“I hate to break it to my favorite reporter but the Speaker took two versions of her speech home last night as has been reported.

“Anybody who tells you they know what she will do is a liar.

BREAKING: George Soros Suffers HUMILIATING Rebuke

(SNews) – A George Soros-installed Philadelphia prosecutor has been impeached by lawmakers in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

On Wednesday, lawmakers voted to impeach “woke” Soros-funded Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.

Krasner was first elected in 2017 and won reelection in 2021 with the help of a $1.7 million boost from radical billionaire Soros’ Justice and Public Safety PAC.

During his tenure as district attorney, he has reformed Philadelphia’s bail laws.

Krasner has overseen fewer convictions and seen higher recidivism rates.

The Republican-led state House passed seven articles of impeachment against Krasner.

His impeachment trial will now advance to the GOP-led state Senate.

Although Republicans control the majority in Pennsylvania’s Senate, they will need six additional Democrat votes to reach the two-thirds vote required to convict Krasner.

The state House’s impeachment vote comes amid an increase in crime in Philadelphia.

Restoring Law and Order, which was empaneled to look into Krasner’s tenure as district attorney, said that over the previous 21 1/2 months, there had been 992 homicides in the city, contrasting it with 551 over the two-year period 2015-16.

The report also found that 18-20% of gun crimes had been dropped by Krasner’s office, compared to 8-10% statewide.

The articles of impeachment were introduced by Pennsylvania Rep. Martina White, a Philadelphia-based Republican.

White criticized Krasner for his “dereliction of duty.”

White said:

Larry Krasner is the top law enforcement official who is supposed to be representing the interests of our Commonwealth in Philadelphia criminal cases.

His dereliction of duty and despicable behavior is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.

No public official is above accountability.

A Pennsylvania Senate majority leader spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon that the Senate shares “the concerns expressed by leaders in the House of Representatives about how the crime crisis is affecting Philadelphia and the Commonwealth as a whole.”

However, Pennsylvania Democrats argue Krasner has not committed an impeachable offense and that his conviction would overturn the will of the voters.

In a statement after the impeachment vote, Krasner claimed the state House impeached him “without presenting a single shred of evidence connecting our policies to any uptick in crime.”

“History will harshly judge this anti-democratic authoritarian effort to erase Philly’s votes – votes by black, brown, and broke people in Philadelphia,” Krasner added.

“And voters will have the last word.”

Krasner’s impeachment is the latest repudiation of Soros-funded district attorneys across the country.

In June, San Francisco voters recalled Soros-funded Democrat prosecutor Chesa Boudin.

Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon, a Democrat, narrowly avoided a recall effort earlier this year.
