(TStaarnes) – Video shows members of George Mason University’s (GMU) Students For Life (SFL) chapter being harassed by a pro-abortion student during the school’s club fair.
In addition to harassing the pro-life students, the video obtained by Campus Reform shows the unnamed individual taking the club’s recruitment material last Wednesday.
When the club members asked the pro-abortion student to stop harassing them, he replied by saying he was, “exercising his First Amendment rights.”
“He just called everyone names and constantly harassed us, not leaving us alone,” the university’s SFL chapter president Ken Meekins told Campus Reform following the incident.
At one point, the student attempted to grab the camera from the club’s vice president Isabella Cespedes who was recording the incident.
“It’s a shame that these violent interactions happen because they do impede us from communicating our message and sharing the truth about the violence of abortion,” Cespedes told the outlet.
During an argument with one of the pro-life students, the individual defended his actions by telling the club members, “You took away a woman’s right to choose.”
Additionally, towards the end of the video, the individual finally admitted to throwing the club’s materials in a trash can and the pro-life students were allegedly able to retrieve them.
Cespedes ensured Campus Reform that the club would continue to share its message with their peers at GMU.
“We’re [going to] be continuing to be out here speaking to different people regarding how the babies in the womb do deserve human rights just like any other human,” she said.

(TStarnes) – A federal judge Monday granted in part former President Donald Trump’s request to appoint a special master to review documents the FBI seized from Mar-a-Lago. It is a significant blow to federal authorities.
“The Court hereby authorizes the appointment of a special master to review the seized property for personal items and documents and potentially privileged material subject to claims of attorney-client and/or executive privilege,” the order states.
The decision by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon came despite the objections of the Justice Department, which said an outside legal expert was not necessary in part because officials had already completed their review of potentially privileged documents, the Associated Press reports.
Trump’s legal team last month asked Cannon to appoint a special master in the wake of the raid, arguing that the DOJ’s “Privilege Review Team” should not be the final arbiter of whether its actions were proper in such a high-profile case and that the review team’s scope was too narrow.
“We need to take a deep breath. These are presidential records in the hands of the 45th president at a place which was used frequently for work during his presidency,” Trump attorney Christopher Kise said in a hearing Thursday.
The judge had previously signaled her inclination to approve a special master, asking a department lawyer during arguments this month, “What is the harm?”

(JTNews) – The House Jan. 6 Capitol riot committee reportedly plans on dropping its subpoena against the Republican National Committee and email vendor Salesforce.
Attorneys at the Republican National Committee and Salesforce were notified last week that the Jan. 6 committee will withdraw the subpoena that was issued in February, The Washington Post reported.
“Given the current stage of its investigation, the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol has determined that it no longer has a need to pursue the specific information requested,” House general counsel Douglas Letter wrote in a letter obtained by the Post notifying the parties of the motion to dismiss.
The motion to dismiss the subpoena comes as Republicans are favored to take back the House during midterms, making it likely that the Jan. 6 committee will be disbanded after the election this fall.
The Republican National Committee filed a lawsuit in March against the Democrat-led Jan. 6 panel, which argued that records from Salesforce and the Republican group would “help investigators understand the impact of false, inflammatory messages in the weeks before January 6th [and] the flow of funds.” Salesforce owns the RNC’s fundraising platform.
RNC spokeswoman Emma Vaughn celebrated the Jan. 6 panel’s decision.
“We said all along that this subpoena was unconstitutional. This is a victory for freedom of speech, privacy, and Americans’ right of political association without fear of partisan reprisal,” she told the Post.

(Slay News) – The severe backlash against Joe Biden’s controversial speech is continuing as television networks snub the Democrat president and refuse to air it.
CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox News all refused to air Biden’s prime-time speech because it was “too political” and too close to the midterms, according to The Washington Post.
According to Deadline: “ABC ran Press Your Luck, CBS went with a Young Sheldon rerun and NBC with a Law & Order replay.
“CNN and MSNBC carried the address, as did news division streaming channels, but Fox News stuck with Tucker Carlson and his critique of the speech as it was happening.”
President Donald Trump blasted Biden as “insane” over the radical speech, as Slay News reported.
“Someone should explain to Joe Biden, slowly but passionately, that MAGA means, as powerfully as mere words can get, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump said.
“If you look at the words and meaning of the awkward and angry Biden speech tonight, he must be insane, or suffering from late-stage dementia.”
During his Thursday night speech, Biden went after half of the country in an effort to smear those who support Trump.
Biden labeled Trump supporters as “MAGA Republicans.”
“Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal,” Biden said.
“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”
