Breaking: Emergency Warning Issued For Major Liberal City

(SNews) – Illinois State Representative Martin McLaughlin (R-Barrington Hills) has issued an extraordinary travel advisory to his constituents who travel to Chicago.

The advisory comes as the Democrat-controlled city sees record violence.

He said:

“This summer, why don’t you head on up to the 52nd District and kick your shoes off and relax as you put your feet in the sand next to Bangs Lake in Wauconda, or stroll down beautiful Libertyville’s main street, or grab a locally brewed craft beer along the Fox River?

“Island Lake, Barrington, Algonquin, and Mundelein offer thousands of acres of beautiful bucolic public parks without the threat of any harm to you and your family.

“You might see horses, cranes, foxes, and eagles all over the beautiful areas that we call home.

“Enjoy all of this rural charm and warm hospitality in our many community main streets.

“Our business owners would love to see you and they appreciate you staying and spending locally.

“I am advising my constituents from Lake, McHenry, Kane, and suburban Cook Counties who value public safety to be fully aware of the issues before entering the city of Chicago.

“The news related to crime coming out of Chicago each week is awful and heartbreaking.

“For any hardworking Illinoisan with an expectation of public safety and criminal prosecution, Chicago is no longer the place for you.

“Carjackings, muggings, retail theft, and assaults are all up in Chicago,” he warned.

“This is not a condemnation of the great people of Chicago, but rather a call to action for all the leaders of the city, county, and the governor to solve these problems and finally return our flagship city to its prior status as a safe, world-class city for all its residents and visitors.

“I hope everyone stays safe and enjoys Memorial Day weekend with family and friends as we honor our fallen heroes.”
