(BLP) – Many conservatives thought that former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was a loyal soldier who served dutifully and honorably under President Donald Trump for many years in his cabinet.
Nothing could have been further from the truth.
Pompeo confirmed what had long been rumored during a meeting with his inner circle of supporters in Chicago earlier this week, according to sources at the meeting who confirmed to Politico.
“We’ve got a team in Iowa, a team in New Hampshire and South Carolina. And that’s not random. We are doing the things one would do to get ready,” Pompeo said.
Additionally, Pompeo is making the media rounds, including an appearance on Jesse Watters’ Fox News program to speak on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sending illegals up north to force liberal areas to deal with them.
Pompeo has made many remarks in recent months that show he is a neoconservative interloper who is subverting the America First cause for his own ends.
“By aiding Ukraine, we undermined the creation of a Russian-Chinese axis bent on exerting military and economic hegemony in Europe, in Asia and in the Middle East,” Pompeo said while giving remarks over the summer, defending the dangerous proxy war being waged with Russia that is costing the U.S. billions.
“I believe Ukraine has found its Washington in the embodiment of a single man. His name is Volodymyr Zelensky. He has led the world at a time of great peril,” he added.
“Associating with anti-Semitic neo-Nazis is not consistent with the conservative values I’ve defended for decades. Representative Taylor-Greene playing footsie with Nick Fuentes and his splinter movement is shameful,” Pompeo said in February, chiding MTG for speaking at an America First political conference.
Big League Politics reported on how Pompeo created a pipeline of Never Trumpers into the Trump White House by design as patriots were left in the lurch:
“Pompeo has quietly led the charge for the infiltration of the Trump administration with ‘Never Trump’ operatives gunning to sabotage the President’s ‘America First’ agenda.
Mary Kissel, who Trump once called a “major loser,” was hired by Pompeo as a senior adviser in the State Department despite opposing her boss on every single one of his policies. Pompeo also hired James Jeffrey as his envoy for the Syrian war despite the fact that he was a ‘Never Trumper’ who signed a pro-Hillary Clinton letter arguing that Trump was “a dangerous president [who] would put at risk our country’s national security and well-being” in 2016.
In Pompeo’s most egregious betrayal of Trump, he hired Elliott Abrams – the disgraced war criminal who supported the Iraq War and perjured himself by lying to Congress over the Iran/Contra scandal – as the Venezuelan envoy despite Abrams’ long-stated goal for the GOP establishment to “seize the party machinery back immediately after the Trump defeat.”
“Do not allow the Republican convention to be a coronation wherein Trump and Trumpism are unchallenged. There’s no reason others who won many delegates, from Rubio to Cruz to Kasich, should not have their names put in nomination. The party needs to be reminded that there are deep divisions, and Trump needs to be reminded of how many in the party oppose and even fear his nomination,” Abrams wrote for the now defunct Weekly Standard, urging for an anti-democratic mutiny against Trump at the Republican National Convention in July 2016.

He gets off on lying to the America people while leading the CIA and State Department. Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda is in jeopardy as long as Pompeo remains Secretary of State.”
Pompeo will be crushed like an ant by Trump in 2024 if he does not get cold feet before then. The extreme hubris of this clown will result in total embarrassment if unchecked.
