Ricky Pearsall, a first-round draft pick for the San Francisco 49ers, was allegedly shot during a robbery attempt in downtown San Francisco on Saturday. Local media reports indicate that Pearsall is currently in stable condition.

The individual in question is reportedly in custody as well. As per Sean Cunningham from Fox 40 in Sacramento, citing the San Francisco Police Department, Pearsall sustained a gunshot wound to the chest following a confrontation with the suspect over the firearm.
Per SFPD: 49ers Ricky Pearsall was shot through the chest in a robbery attempt over a Rolex. He was headed to a signing event on Geary & Market. There was a struggle for the gun. Both Ricky & the suspect were shot. Both parties stable at SF General Hospital.
