Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) took to social media on Tuesday to share a crude sexual joke regarding Senator JD Vance (R-OH), shortly after incorporating it into his opening remarks while serving as Kamala Harris’s running mate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Breitbart News noted:
“I can’t wait to debate the guy,” Walz said, to cheers. Then he added: “That is, if he’s willing to get off the couch and show up.” The crowd roared with laughter. “You see what I did there?” he said, clearly aware of the joke. The joke refers to a meme that claims Vance had sex with a couch, based on a fake citation from his memoir, Hillbilly Elegy.”
Although Breitbart News and other outlets emphasized Walz’s use of the sexual joke, he took to social media to reiterate it with pride.
Like all regular people in America's heartland, JD Vance studied at Yale, had his career funded by Silicon Valley billionaires, and wrote a bestseller trashing that community.
Come on.

The left-leaning HuffPost expressed great enthusiasm, stating, “Tim Walz Delivers a Stunning ‘Couch’ Burn to JD Vance.” The Democratic ticket is not without genuine sexual controversies in its history. Vice President Kamala Harris commenced her political journey while in a relationship with Willie Brown, a prominent figure in California politics, who was married at that time.
Additionally, her spouse, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, has recently been revealed to have had an extramarital affair with the family nanny during his previous marriage. Emhoff has acknowledged the affair but has not clarified whether the nanny became pregnant, as has been reported.
