Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has expressed concerns about what he sees as a globalist green agenda masquerading as environmentalism, dubbing it a “death cult.” He shared these thoughts during an interview with Joe Rogan. Musk mentioned his motivation for acquiring Twitter was to counter the harmful impact of social media on society.
He also discussed the challenges facing San Francisco, particularly the impact of certain political philosophies. Musk raised concerns about an “extinctionist” green agenda, asserting it explicitly promotes the demise of humanity. He characterized this globalist-led movement as a “death cult” and mentioned the spread of a “mind virus” through weaponized social media platforms.
Musk suggested that Facebook and Google are still largely under the control of this cult. He pointed out that many proponents of the “climate crisis” agenda don’t genuinely prioritize environmental concerns. He also noted that while explicit extinctionist views might exist at the fringe of the environmental movement, the influence of this “death cult” has permeated the broader movement.
Musk told Rogan:
“I’m pro-environment but if you take environmentalism to an extreme, you start to view humanity as a plague on the surface of the earth, like a mould or something…
“The environmental movement – and I’m an environmentalist – has gone too far.
“They’ve gone way to far.
“If you start thinking that humans are bad then the natural conclusion is that humans should die out.”

Musk’s remarks followed a controversial speech by John Kerry, who serves as the Climate Czar in the Biden administration. Kerry expressed a concerning perspective, stating that the most significant threat to the Earth is “humanity itself.” This statement was made during his address at the Scottish Global Dialogues regarding the “climate crisis.”
During his speech, Kerry underscored his globalist anti-human agenda by declaring: “So now, humanity is inexorably threatened by humanity itself.”
