Dave Portnoy, the creator of Barstool Sports, successfully gathered $1.5 million to support Officer Diller’s family. At the same time, Presidents Biden, Obama, and Clinton are scheduled to be in New York City today for a high-profile fundraiser, rather than to pay tribute to Officer Diller.
