A square white item was observed to drop from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s pant leg as she made her way onto the stage at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Wednesday evening.
As Pelosi greeted the audience upon her arrival at the DNC stage, she was set to present her speech in support of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. During her entrance, an unidentified white object that appeared to be toilet paper slipped off her pant leg, prompting Pelosi to momentarily look down at it.

Aside from ABC News, traditional media outlets omitted the potentially awkward moment, as reported by the news site Not the Bee. Pelosi went on to express her endorsement of Harris, stating that the Democratic presidential nominee “is perceptive and strategic in navigating challenging elections, swiftly obtaining the nomination with dignity and grace while selecting Tim Walz as our vice president,” according to the entertainment magazine Deadline.
