Union Boss Admits Its All Over For Joe Biden

Following the announcement of the United Auto Workers labor union endorsing Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, the UAW president admitted that a majority of the members are unlikely to vote for the Democratic president.

On Wednesday, after a significant delay, the UAW labor union leadership officially declared their endorsement of President Biden’s bid for reelection. Although Biden was initially expected to receive the endorsement last year, it was withheld due to concerns regarding his electric vehicle policies.

However, UAW President Shawn Fain acknowledged in an interview that the endorsement from the union leadership does not guarantee automatic support from union workers in their voting decisions. Newsweek reported that Fain reluctantly admitted that a considerable portion of the UAW members he represents will likely disregard the official endorsement and instead vote for President Donald Trump in November.

After the announcement of the UAW’s endorsement, President Fain appeared on Fox News with host Neil Cavuto and acknowledged that the union’s members are not obligated to align their presidential vote with the union leadership’s stance.

“Let me be clear about this,” Fain told Cavuto.

“A great majority of our members will not vote for President Biden.”

“Yes, some will, but that’s the reality of this,” he continued.

“The majority of our members are gonna vote for their paychecks, they’re gonna vote for an economy that works for them.”

Fain, without a doubt, emphasized that according to the UAW’s leadership, Trump was not a viable choice for endorsement or voting due to his alleged lack of support for the American worker and his opposition to the values we hold dear.

According to CNN, Biden graciously acknowledged the UAW’s endorsement for his re-election campaign. However, it was also mentioned that despite the backing from union leadership, the current incumbent will face a challenge in securing the votes of union workers against his predecessor, Trump.

“Although it’s a key endorsement for Biden, the backing from union leadership may not convince all of the rank-and-file to vote for the president in November,” the outlet observed.

“Biden won the endorsement of the UAW in the 2020 campaign, even though many rank-and-file members supported Trump.”
