WATCH: Video Shows Hero Take Down Active Shooter at Super Bowl Parade

A video has surfaced on social media showcasing the courageous actions of the Kansas City Chiefs as they apprehended one of the suspected shooters amidst the chaos of the Super Bowl parade. In the footage, Chiefs fans can be observed chasing down and capturing a suspect following a shooting incident during the team’s celebration of their Super Bowl victory in the city of Missouri.

Tragically, the shooting occurred on Wednesday at the conclusion of the victory parade and rally in downtown Kansas City, resulting in one fatality and nine individuals sustaining injuries. The Kansas City Police Department has successfully detained two suspects in connection with the incident. The police, via a social media post around 2 p.m. Central Time, confirmed that gunshots had been fired in the vicinity of Union Station.

“Shots were fired west of Union Station near the garage and multiple people were struck,” the police said.

“We took two armed people into custody for more investigation.”

In a video shared on X platform, an individual can be observed sprinting amidst a gathering, pursued by two other individuals who eventually apprehend him.

Subsequently, a lady is captured on camera collecting various objects from the ground, potentially including a firearm, in close proximity to the altercation. She proceeds to pass these items to another woman positioned further away from the commotion, who discreetly stashes one of the objects in her coat pocket.

The latter woman then signals for the surrounding individuals to create distance. Finally, law enforcement officers arrive at the scene and detain the suspect, ensuring his confinement until the area is secured.
