Whoopi Goldberg interrupted her co-host on “The View” as she started to allude to commending former President Donald Trump during the panel on Tuesday. Griffin expressed some admiration for Trump’s presence at the wake of the late NYPD officer Jonathan Diller, who tragically lost his life in a shooting incident involving 34-year-old Guy Rivera during a traffic stop.
“Because this past week he had a brief good political moment for a Republican. He attended the slain NYPD officer’s funeral to juxtapose what he was framing as Biden hobnobbing with celebrities,” Griffin said. “Choose what you like there, but for Republicans, it was good imagery.”
