Peter Doocy, the White House correspondent for Fox News, directly inquired whether the White House is experiencing a state of panic regarding President Joe Biden’s concerning polling figures leading up to the November election. In reference to a Politico article titled “Dems in full-blown ‘freakout’ over Biden,” Doocy highlighted Democrats’ apprehensive attitude towards the potential consequences of the 2024 election as a result of the president’s poor polling performance.
“Are you guys here at the White House in full-blown freakout mode?” Doocy asked during Tuesday’s press briefing.
“What are you talking about?” the press secretary asked. “What are you talking about, Peter?”
“There’s a Politico story, it sounds like Democrats outside, the quote is ‘Biden’s stubbornly poor polling and the stakes of the election are creating the freakout,’” Doocy continued.
