The Cook Political Report reclassified Democratic Nevada Sen. Jacky Rosen’s seat to the “Toss Up” column for 2024, shifting it from the previous “Lean D” category. This change, along with the open seat in Michigan and Democratic Sens. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania and Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin, has raised concerns about the party’s ability to maintain its majority in the upper chamber. Jessica Taylor of The Cook Political Report explained that this decision was based on recent polling data and trends in the presidential race.

An Emerson College survey from March 20 showed Rosen with a narrow lead over Sam Brown, the Republican frontrunner, while earlier polls indicated varying margins of victory for the senator. Additionally, former President Donald Trump is currently ahead of President Joe Biden by 3.2 points in Nevada, a state that supported the Democratic candidate in both the 2016 and 2020 elections, according to the RealClearPolitics average.

“Nevada is now a toss up because Jacky Rosen is a rubber stamp for Joe Biden and has made things worse for Nevadans, from high prices to the open border,” Brown wrote on X. “We are going to win in November, secure the border and make Nevada more affordable for middle class families.”

Rosen currently collaborates on the “Toss Up” column alongside Democratic Senators Jon Tester of Montana and Sherrod Brown of Ohio, in addition to the position previously occupied by outgoing independent Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona.

“Jacky Rosen is struggling to connect with Nevada voters because she can’t defend her record of rubber stamping Joe Biden’s policies that have caused higher prices, open borders, and out of control crime,” Maggie Abboud, spokeswoman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), said.

The NRSC is supporting Brown in the GOP primary for the seat, previously won by Rosen in 2018. Brown was defeated by then-Republican Attorney General Adam Laxalt in the GOP Senate primary in 2022, receiving 34.2% support. Laxalt later narrowly lost to incumbent Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, aiding Democrats in securing control of the upper chamber.

The Rosen campaign and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) did not provide immediate responses to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“I’ve been very vocal about this,” Carville said. “It’s horrifying our numbers among younger voters, particularly younger blacks, younger latinos … younger people of color. Particularly males. We’re not shedding them, they’re leaving in droves.”

In the 2020 presidential election, the support of younger voters played a crucial role in Biden’s coalition. According to a study conducted by the Pew Research Center, 59% of voters aged 18 to 29 cast their votes in favor of Biden, while Trump received 33% of the vote within this demographic. Recent polls suggest that Biden’s declining popularity among younger voters can be attributed to his handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict, as many young individuals perceive him as being pro-Israel.

“I think this issue is deep, and I think it’s a lot deeper than just progressive advocates or young people or college campuses,” Carville asserted about the Middle East war in February. “I hope the president can get some kind of ceasefire and take this off the front burner because, frankly, its damage politically is pretty substantial. And if we get to Chicago at the convention and this thing is still going on, I don’t want to think about what‘s going to happen there.”

The substantial edge that the Democratic Party once had over Republicans among black Americans overall and Hispanic Americans aged 18 to 29 has decreased by almost 20% in the past three years, as indicated by Gallup data released in February.

An investigation into election integrity has revealed that a significant percentage of registered voters in 26 U.S. states are fake, ranging from 7% to 18%.

Last month a report on a study that revealed mail-in ballot fraud “almost certainly” influenced the outcome of the 2020 election, favoring Democrat President Joe Biden. This finding contradicts the narrative pushed by the Democrats, corporate media, and Big Tech, who have consistently claimed that the 2020 election was the safest and most accurate in history. Those who dare to question Biden’s victory have faced censorship, character assassination as “conspiracy theorists,” and even imprisonment.

Republicans who challenge Democrat election wins are branded as “election deniers,” while Democrats who question the results are hailed as defenders of democracy. The Heartland Institute recently conducted a groundbreaking study, which found that voter fraud was widespread enough to sway the outcome in all six crucial swing states.

The evidence used in the study included confessions from voters who admitted to committing election fraud through mail-in ballots. In late 2023, the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports conducted a survey to measure the extent of voter fraud in the 2020 election.

“Eventually, we began to wonder if we could apply the poll results to publicly available election data to determine whether mail-in voter fraud impacted the outcome of the election. This was no easy task.

“After extensive analysis using the raw survey data provided by Rasmussen coupled with state-based and other reputable sources documenting mail-in vote totals, we concluded that mail-in voter fraud almost certainly changed the 2020 election outcome in all six of the crucial swing states.”
